Saturday December 6th is St. Nicholas day, first day of advent, the Christmas mart was full and the stores are open until midnight, a big shopping day.
We are slowing down a bit, just a bit. Today is Sunday and we have a reservation for 25 people at Spezial brewery, our group and all the friends we have made in this town. Should be a fun dinner.
Monday A.M. we are off to Dusseldorf 4hrs by train.
Walked back from lunch through the Christmas mart, the families are out and about, Germans like the spiced wine, it is very big, they drink and socialise till the wee hours, today is the second day of advent, we got a little package of chocolates at breakfast.
