Status Report -- December 2

Luis and I landed in Frankfurt. The weather is cold and gray, but what do you expect for Germany in December. The trains were running a bit late, so there may have been worse weather elsewhere. Once we got a bit east of Frankfurt there was snow on the ground -- very picturesque.

Now for the bad news. In the 10 years we've been doing this trip I don't think we've ever had anybody be delayed because of flight problems. Well, today we had two: Jim Blackmore couldn't
get out of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and Tom Rierson got stranded while changing planes in San Francisco. Not a good start. We'll just have to drink their share of beers...
