Day Nine, London, GBBF

Today was a work day for me, again at the American Bar. I had already tasted all the American beers, so ocassionally I drifted down to the German side to sample some of those beers.

Anyway, not much in the way of pictures. Just a few random ones of the fest...

The Jersey Bar. Some very good beers.

The Theakstons Bar

The German/Czech end of BSF (foreign beers)

Up Goswell Road from the dorm is a very good fish & chips place. Its more than that, actually, with a sitdown restaurant as well. We decided to head there for dinner and then head over to Old Street to visit a pub that gotten good recommendations.

You may think of of "fish & chips" as some small pieces of mystery fish with fries/frites/chips. Not hear. I actually had "fish & mash" but first you choose the fish (cod, haddock, plaice and others) and the side (chips, mash, veggies)

Fish & Mash at Kennedy's, Goswell Road

It was very good and we all ate too much. In addition it started to rain quite heavily so we passed on the pub and called it an early night.

Tomorrow is our last day at the GBBF and then Saturday we're off to Derby for the weekend.
